Atlanta Hawks: 5 Takeaways From A Close Loss to LA Clippers

Vintage John Collins Game
Other than Young, second-year player John Collins was the highlight player for the Atlanta Hawks. This was a vintage performance from JC, as his sturdy athleticism and bounciness led to some easy buckets for the Hawks in transition.
However, Collins was not just a play finisher in this one. He flashed some of the impressive floor game he showcased in Summer League, and Collins also drilled two threes on his way to 18 points in 20 minutes.
Though his fouling was back to its overzealous ways (5 fouls in 20 minutes), JC matched his career-high with 6 assists and a lot of those came off the dribble – a very, very good sign for Hawks fans and new Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce.
Of course, no John Collins blurb would be complete without a dunking highlight, so without further ado:

Good to have you back, JC!
