Fourth Quarter and Final Reactions

Sadly the Warriors were too much for the Hawks in the fourth quarter and they would continue to add to the lead. Even though tonight’s game ended in a loss the Atlanta Hawks did a good job of attacking the rim.

Obviously, it did not result in a win but it’s important to build good habits. Throughout the game, Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce constantly pulled Young and other players to the side and coached them through certain situations. No matter the situation, whether it’s good or bad, coach Pierce always keeps his cool.

Prince (14), Collins (24), Huerter (10), Young (20), Lin (14) and DeAndre’ Bembry (11) all finished the game in double figures. Again, this Hawks team can score but they need to work on attacking the rim earlier in games.

The three-pointer is a beautiful thing, but it can also come back to haunt you. After tonight’s loss, the Atlanta Hawks are 5-19 and have 58 more games to play. As the season continues, this young team will continue to improve.

Wednesday night the Atlanta Hawks will face a lukewarm Washington Wizards team at home at 7:30 p.m.
