Read on to explore 3 takeaways from the Atlanta Hawks one-sided affair against the Golden State Warriors.

In a night full of dunks, turnovers, long-distance threes and a dysfunctional shot clock, the Atlanta Hawks dropped one to the defending champs 128-111. The Hawks never led in this contest.

After a frustrating first quarter, the Hawks did their best to fight back into the game, cutting the lead down to 7 with good play from Trae Young and John Collins.

The Dubs were able to pull away after the half, with the high-powered trio of Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson being way too much for the Hawks defense to handle. They finished with 85 of Golden State’s 128 points.

Collins was the best player in a Hawks uniform tonight, and led Atlanta in points and rebounds with 24 and 11. The team struggled big from deep, shooting just 19% from deep compared to Golden State’s impressive 54%

Here are 3 takeaways from the Hawks’ second loss to the Warriors on the year.
