#30. Milwaukee Bucks – Mfiondu Kabengele

As the best team in the league this season, the Milwaukee Bucks really don’t need much help via the 2019 NBA Draft. The team is expected to roll to the Eastern Conference Finals on the back of the league’s presumptive MVP, Giannis Antekounmpo, and a savvy cast of veterans and hungry younger players looking to prove themselves in the crucible of playoff basketball.

However, with a multitude of interesting low-end first rounders available here for Milwaukee, the team should think about drafting Mfiondu Kabengele to aid its frontcourt depth.

Though Brook Lopez was one of the best signings of last offseason, Kabengele plays with a certain ferocity that cannot be taught, and he was a huge reason why Florida State made two straight Sweet 16s under head coach Leonard Hamilton.

A swift-moving big man with beefy 6-foot-10, 25-pound size, Kabengele is a force around the rim on defense – which makes sense considering that Atlanta Hawks legend Dikembe Mutombo is his uncle.

With the Bucks being pretty set at most of their positions going forward (depending on what kind of contract Khris Middleton gets), the team has a wealth of options here, but Kabengele would be a smart upside play from Milwaukee with the 30th overall pick.
