#11. Los Angeles Lakers – Bol Bol

With the extreme dysfunction surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers this season, who knows what this pick might turn into. Though Magic Johnson recently provided the Lakers with a comfortable “out” by resigning from the organization, he left them in a rather preposterous pickle by leaving a legacy of failed trades and bad free agent decisions.

However, one thing’s for certain, LeBron James will be a member of this team at least for the next 3 seasons, so L.A. better get their act together – and fast.

Luckily, the Cleveland Cavaliers provided the blueprint for how to win with the LeBron of this era – surround with players that can reliably shoot from deep and can defend at an above-average to high level.

Bol Bol, son of NBA legend Manute Bol, had an injury-shortened freshman season in college, but his incredible size (7-foot-2, 235 pounds) and insane length (7-foot-8 wingspan, 9-foot-7 standing reach) make him one of the most tantalizing prospects in this entire draft class.

If the Lakers were to actually keep this 11th overall pick, which, it goes without saying, is far from a guarantee, Bol would make for an interesting fit alongside Bron.

Though Bol only played 9 games in college, he produced 24 total blocks, 2.7 blocks per game and a 12.4 percent block rate while shooting 52 percent from beyond the arc. Now that’s what I call upside!
