#29. San Antonio Spurs (via Toronto Raptors) –Talen Horton-Tucker

As one of the, if not the single, youngest player in this draft class, Talen Horton-Tucker of Iowa State comes in with plenty of upside, which is something that the San Antonio Spurs will likely be willing to explore using the draft pick they acquired in the Kawhi Leonard trade.

Though Horton-Tucker must improve his conditioning to stay on an NBA court, his burly 6-foot-4, 233-pound frame (and 7-foot-1 wingspan) is surely tantalizing from an upside perspective.

Coupled with his age and the proven production as a freshman on an Iowa State team that got hot and won the Big 12 Conference tournament, Horton-Tucker has been a surprising riser of late.

With the nascent ability to create off the dribble, make difficulty shots in traffic along with good length and defensive instincts, Horton-Tucker could prove to be a steal for the Spurs near the bottom of the first round in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Though the Spurs just drafted Lonnie Walker last year and have both Dejounte Murray and Derrick White as entrenched options at the guard positions, an 18-year-old with the physical profile and shotmaking ability of Horton-Tucker will likely be too much to pass up if the draft breaks this way for San Antonio.
