#13. Miami Heat – Grant Williams

This might be perhaps the biggest reach on the board so far. Grant Williams out of Tennessee led the Volunteers to a #1 overall ranking for much of the season as well as a thrilling victory against the Gonzaga Bulldogs, though his senior teammate overshadowed the junior Williams in that particular contest.

Williams is a supremely strong and burly wing that projects to be able to defend in space and in the interior as well. Though his length (6-foot-11 wingspan) and height (6-foot-7) are not ideal, he showed the ability to switch across a myriad of positions in college, and his strength should be a major factor at the next level.

For the Heat, Williams would provide a knack for shot creation and defensive upside late in the lottery and could slide next to Bam Adebayo as the team’s frontcourt of the future. The lithe and athletic Adebayo would pair nicely with Williams, who won back-to-back SEC Player of the Year awards for Tennessee.

A brilliant foul-drawer and passer at his position, Williams is also only 20 years old, which is extremely young for a junior – meaning he still has plenty of room to grow his already polished game on both ends.
