#30. Milwaukee Bucks – Luguentz Dort
With the final pick of the first round, the Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to upgrade the team’s wing rotation. Though currently stacked with burly options, multiple major players on Milwaukee will be free agents going into next offseason including Khris Middleton, Malcolm Brogdon and Brook Lopez.
Beyond that, the Bucks lack a big wing that can move his feet on the perimeter while also providing some bulk instead. With the 30th pick in the NBA Draft, the Bucks could land Luguentz Dort out of Arizona State as a long-term option for that role on the team.
After one season at ASU, Dort showcased excellent defensive instincts as well as a truly striking athletic profile in which his chiseled frame helped lead the Sun Devils to a First Four victory over St. John’s in the NCAA Tournament.
Dort was the best option for Arizona State in the scoring department logging 16.1 PPG, though Zylan Cheatham and Remy Martin (great name) also produced for ASU.
At 20 years old, Dort is slightly older among the freshman of this draft class, but his sterling athleticism and still-untapped upside should be attractive to the Bucks as a potential developmental option late in the first round.
