Atlanta Hawks: 6 Free Agents in Warriors/Rockets Series to Potentially Sign

Danuel House
Last but far from least is Danuel House of the Houston Rockets. Though House will be 26 years old in June, he is still a relatively unseasoned player and still quite “green” in terms of high-stakes NBA minutes – especially since his extremely productive season with the Rockets has seemingly fallen by the wayside as he’s been replaced by the more battle-tested Iman Shumpert.
House had a terrific year in 39 games with the Rockets – producing a 41.6 percent clip from three-point territory on a sky-high 70.6 percent three-point attempt rate.
House was a spot-up master for Houston, as 96 percent of his makes from long range were assisted according to Cleaning the Glass. Beyond that, though he shot 40 percent on corner threes (which was in the 66th percentile among forwards, he drilled 45 percent of his above the break triples, which was in the 95th percentiles among forwards (also per Cleaning the Glass).
A sturdy 6-foot-7, 220-pound frame makes House a switchable defender, which is an area that the Atlanta Hawks desperately need help with going forward.
Though his presence might not be a panacea, he would definitely lift the Atlanta Hawks’ floor and ceiling as a player with a bankable skill set and proven production in the regular season.
