Final Thoughts

Although the Atlanta Hawks did not make the playoffs or win their final game of the season there are a few bright spots to the 18-19 season. One of the bright spots was the emergence and debut season of Young (so much so that he should be named Co-Rookie of the Year alongside Doncic).

Early on in the season fans witnessed TY go through early growing pains but seen flashes of greatness. Overall expect him to come back for a strong sophomore season which will serve as another building block for this Atlanta Hawks team.

Don’t expect Ice Trae to play again in the summer league but this year was solid and he was a special sight on the offensive end. All season long he ran the offense, pushed the tempo and helped push the Hawks forward.

Season Grade: B+
