#14. Boston Celtics (via Sacramento Kings) — Goga Bitadze

Though the Boston Celtics weren’t able to nab four first round picks in the 2019 NBA Draft due to the Memphis Grizzlies retaining their pick at #2 overall, the Celtics must still be fairly happy about obtaining three first round picks – the first being the 14th overall from the Sacramento Kings.

Of course, the Philadelphia 76ers were holding their breath when the draft lottery took place because if this pick had sauntered up the draft board to #1 overall, it would’ve belonged to Philly – utterly turning the league on its head after the Sixers were just barely beaten by the Toronto Raptors.

Anyway, for all of their first round picks in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics can take big-time chances due to the fact that their team is already pretty loaded with talent (no matter what Kyrie Irving decides) and has a strong young core (that also might be broken up in favor of Anthony Davis).

With the final lottery pick in the first round, the Celtics will opt for Goga Bitadze – a teenage prodigy from the country of Georgia that’s currently playing in the EuroLeague.

As one of the youngest players in this class, Bitadze has plenty of upside left to explore, but he already has a scintillating combination in his skill set of shot-blocking and sweet three-point shooting.

Who knows if the Celtics will keep any of their picks, but Bitadze would make for an excellent gamble if they do.
