#5. Cleveland Cavaliers — Cam Reddish

Another player the Atlanta Hawks desperately hope will tumble down draft boards in the 2019 NBA Draft is Duke’s Cam Reddish.

Reddish was the third fiddle to Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett, but his skill set is still extremely tantalizing for NBA franchises, and in this iteration, the Cleveland Cavaliers look to take a chance on Reddish’s upside after falling 3 spots to the #5 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

With a new coach in the fold who will likely look to hone in on player development and young players in Michigan’s John Beilein, this will serve as a new start for Reddish – who had a truly terrible freshman alongside his vaunted teammates.

Reddish shot poorly from deep in his freshman season, and his forays into the paint were even less successful, as he showcased some of the worst finishing in the country in his lone college season.

Still though, the Blue Devils had some of the worst spacing in the entire country in 2018-19 with only maybe one player (Alex O’Connell) being able to shoot from deep.

With a real NBA offense behind him – even one as limited as Cleveland’s – Reddish should be able to flourish in a far more realistic role for him going forward. Again, with Beilein guiding him, Reddish should be able to tap into his latent upside very early on in his career.
