Summary & Conclusion

So there you have it, the most likely starting lineup for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019-20 NBA season is as follows:

Point Guard – Trae Young

Shooting Guard – Kevin Huerter

Small Forward – De’Andre Hunter

Power Forward – John Collins

Center – Alex Len

Of course, there will surely be changes to this starting lineup as injuries or rest games pile up throughout the season.

One could logically expect to see Trae Young get some rest in favor of the newly acquired Evan Turner or the longest-tenured current Atlanta Hawks member DeAndre’ Bembry.

Furthermore, expect to see rookies Cam Reddish and Bruno Fernando slotted into the starting lineup at various times throughout the season as well as a wing/guard and big man, respectively.

The Hawks also have Allen Crabbe, Damian Jones, Jabari Parker and Chandler Parsons on the team – who could reportedly slide in as a spot starters should the need arise.

However, the team’s main core as of this moment is Young, Huerter, Hunter and Collins with Reddish and Fernando in reserve as future members of the core based on their potential. For now, expect the above starting lineup scenario to be what Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce opts for on opening night.
