After the release of the newest entry into the storied NBA 2K franchise, let’s take a look at the full ratings of each Atlanta Hawks player when the game launched.

NBA 2K20 released over the weekend, and NBA fans the world over rejoiced, then quickly rescinded that joy after playing the game. The ratings of each player on the Atlanta Hawks are fairly interesting.

First off, NBA 2K20 is being savaged by user reviews on PC gaming platform Steam as well as reviews aggregation sites such as Metacritic due to some rather wacky glitches and seemingly incongruous gameplay decisions made during the game’s development.

However, for this piece, let’s take a look at the rating of notable players on the Hawks. Here is the full Hawks team page on 2KRatings.com.

As you can see, the two highest-rated players on the team are no surprises. After a striking rookie and sophomore year, respectively, Trae Young and John Collins were given ratings of 85 and 84 respectively – with Collins taking home a 93 rating in dunks, which is somehow only 12th in the league, behind players such as Andrew Wiggins and Blake Griffin (who really doesn’t dunk that much anymore).

Surprisingly, Jabari Parker is ranked third in overall rating on the Atlanta Hawks in NBA 2K20, perhaps still coasting from his high-draft pedigree and scoring bias that has helped him make over $42 million in his career.

Further down the list, Kevin Huerter is ranked only 76 overall with an 82 rating in three-point shooting. That 76 overall is only one point higher than rookie Cam Reddish and his three-point shooting is tied with Young for second overall on the team in NBA 2K20.

Shockingly, but pleasantly so, 42-year-old Vince Carter has the highest three-point shooting rating on the team in 2K20 with an 83. As readers know, this writer is thrilled to have NBA legend Vince back on the team for one final year.

Of course, these ratings will change drastically over the course of the season, so stay tuned for more Atlanta Hawks 2K updates as the season progresses.
