After not appearing in the Hawks’ 5-game road trip, Vince Carter will be back in action tonight.

Atlanta Hawks’ shooting guard Vince Carter is officially off the injury report, and will be available to play Wednesday night against the Bucks.

the 42-year-old vet missed the last 5 games, in what was only described as personal resaons, but it came out after being removed from the report, that it was to spend time with a newborn daughter.

The 8-time All Star is averaged 5.1 points in 14.5 minutes per game. He hasn’t suited up since November 8th, and well see if he gets right back to his 10-15 minutes per game right off the bat.

He played in 76 games just a year ago, showing once again his body has not caught up to his age.

Outside of Carter, the entire injury report has cleaned up a bunch, with only Kevin Huerter being ruled out, and Jabari Parker questionable. Evan Turner is also questionable, and obviously John Collins is still out as well.

Parker would likely have the ‘honors’ of covering Giannis Antetokounmpo, so him playing or not could be a big deal.

It’s very likely that the Atlanta Hawks will be primarily healthy for one of the first times this season. Vince should conintue to bring a nice bench presence, along with the occasional three, and both Jabari and Turner have been playing well of late. Something that would need to continue if the Hawks want to beat the Bucks, who are sitting at 10-3, one of the best teams in the league.

It will be nice to be home as well, where they haven’t been for 12 days now.

They’ll look to stop the bleeding a bit, as they have lost 6 of their last 7. Tip is at 5:30 P.M Eastern. Come right back here after for the recap, and any other Hawks-related news.
