10. John Collins
John Collins has 2 seasons and 5 games under his belt, but has been good enough to crack the top-10.
Last year in particular, Collins starred, almost becoming the first Hawk to average a 20-10 season since Moses Malone in ’88-’89.
He was almost comically close to this achievement, finishing with 19.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in his sophomore season.
This led to abundant excitement coming into this current year, but Collins got hit with a suspension in early November.
Him being gone for most of the season has seemed to die down some of the hype, and it’s easy to forget he was a legit contender to make the All-Star team last February.
At the very least, he’s one of the best dunkers of the Hawks’ decade, and his high-flying nature is one of his greatest skills.
He has great chemistry with Trae Young, and just like Young, Collins will likely be competing for a top spot on next decade’s list.
Come back soon, JC.
