5. Kyle Korver

Korver is one of the decade’s best 3-point shooters, maybe even in all of NBA history, and he played his best seasons in a Hawks uniform.

A 2nd round pick in 2003, Kyle Korver bounced around the league as an off-the-bench role player, always strutting out his signature deep stroke.

The Hawks acquired Korver for basically nothing in the 2012 offseason, and he swiftly moved into the starting lineup where he stayed for his entire four-and-a-half season stay in Atlanta.

He was among the best spot up shooters in the league during that time, averaging a 45% clip from deep over his time as a Hawks, peaking in 2014-2015 when he made an insane 49% of his 6 attempts per game.

He always seemed to get hot in just the right moment, including when he scored 11 points in a single minute – in a face mask no less.

Korver really struggled on the defensive side of things, but was in a perfect situation with good defenders all around him.

He truly transcended the role player tag to become one of the best Hawks in history.
