Reacting to the Atlanta Hawks 110-100 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

The Atlanta Hawks fell to the Pacers Friday night by a score of 110-100. It marked the Hawks 3rd straight loss.

Outside a 4-point lead early in the 1st, it was a wire-to-wire victory for Indiana who shot 50% from the field. Atlanta matched with just 41%. The Hawks made just 6 of their 28 attempts from outside three-point land, matching their season-low in deep makes.

Unlike with some other games this season, the Hawks were able to keep things fairly close, not letting the Pacers pull away for a gaudy blowout like some others. A 10-point loss is still a loss of course, but just not as discouraging.

In fact, they were able to make it just a 5-point game halfway through the 4th, but the  now 17-9 Pacers were able to pull away.

Trae Young once again led scorers with 23 points, adding 8 assists and 7 rebounds.

Two other Hawks reached 20 on the night, De’Andre Hunter with 21 and Jabari Parker with 20. Hunter added 2 steals.

Alex Len had one of his better games of the season, scoring 11 to go along with 13 rebounds and a highlight dunk

Cam Reddish played 30 minutes but managed just 4 points on 1-6 shooting. The rookie continues to be hot and cold, with a whole lot more cold periods than hot.

The Hawks fall to 2-4 on the month, 6-20 on the season, with the 23-3 Lakers coming to town on Sunday. After that, Atlanta will play 6 of their next 8 on the road.

More. Will the Hawks be buyers or sellers on the trade market?. light

Hopefully the losing streak doesn’t spiral out of control it did in November, when they lost 10 straight.

Stick here to get the recap of that game on Sunday, which is schedule for a 6:00 p.m tip.
