Jabari Parker: B-

Parker did a formable job filling in for John Collins’ starting role, which came to an end this month.

The two still have yet to play much together, as Parker left the Cavs game in which Collins returned in with an injury, and hasn’t played since.

Parker took a small step back after being the Hawks’ 2nd best player in November, but was still pretty effective,  especially on the offensive sides of things.

The Duke product averaged 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 50% from the field. He should continue to be a solid 6th man once he returns from injury.

De’Andre Hunter: C+

De’Andre continues to be inconsistent, which I suppose makes him consistent in a way.

He’s been easily the best of the three rookies the Hawks continue to play big minutes, and December was probably Hunter’s best month as a whole.

The forward averaged 13.8 points per game, playing some of the team’s best defense out on the perimeter.

He’s had some highlight performances like the ones against the Heat, Pacers, and Cavs, but has also had some of his career worst nights as well.

Hunter gets the opportunity to continue starting to work out the kinks even more and play more consistent ball down the stretch.

Cam Reddish: C-

Cam Reddish is a talented defender, maybe the team’s best less than halfway through his first year.

That is a true feat, almost worth the top ten pick the team spent on him itself.

On the contrary however, Cam has been a pitiful offensive player.

He shot 35% from the field, somehow an improvement from previous months.

Again, his  tough defense keeps him out of ‘D’ range, but he really needs to step things up offensively.

Bruno Fernando: D

Bruno Fernando just doesn’t have the skills to be an NBA player currently, despite being thrust into the starting five of late.

The center averaged just over 10 minutes per game in December, even though he started six games during that time.

He averaged 2.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 fouls per game.

The 2nd rounder should really be in the G-League at this point, not the starting five.
