Starter Grades

Trae made just 2 of his first 10 shots on the night, finishing 7 of 20 from the field. He still managed 26 points thanks to his 10 free throws. The best part of his night was easily his assists, of which he had 16. He mad many nice passes (mostly to John Collins) that could easily end up on his highlight reel for this season. Obviously the shooting wasn’t great, but it’s hard to go lower than a B with those 16 assists.. PG. Atlanta Hawks. TRAE YOUNG. B

SG. Atlanta Hawks. KEVIN HUERTER. C -. Another quiet night for <a rel=

D+. Hunter bounced back in a modest way after really struggling to shot the ball against the Clips. He made some nice buckets in the paint, but missed all three of his attempts from deep. Outside of scoring, Hunter made little to no impact in the stat sheet, finishing with two rebounds, zero assists, with one steal and block. A step in the right direction, but still mostly uninspired play for the rook.. F. Atlanta Hawks. DE'ANDRE HUNTER

A-. Collins got out to a rocket start in this one, scoring 17 1st half points on 8 of 9 shooting, and kept that efficient scoring going into the night. The third-year forward ended up with 28 on 13-16 shooting. Collins made his routine slams, added two threes, but failed to get to the free throw line. He was pretty bad defensively, and his minutes were limited with his five fouls. Still a good game overall for JC, who’s been heating up of late.. PF/C. Atlanta Hawks. JOHN COLLINS

F. Coming off a pretty good game, <a rel=. C. Atlanta Hawks. BRUNO FERNANDO
