Predicting if the Atlanta Hawks will do anything else at the Trade Deadline after the Capela trade.

The Atlanta Hawks were apart one of the largest trades in recent NBA history on Tuesday, already making it their busiest Deadline in a while.

They acquired Clint Capela and Nenê, sending away Evan Turner and two picks. While Nenê will likely be cut, waived or bought out in the soon future, Capela was acquired for next to nothing, and the Hawks have to be feeling great about their deadline at the moment.

Still, there is a chance that they make a further move(s). Jabari Parker, seen as the Hawks’ top trade asset coming into the deadline is still on the team, as are soon-to-be free agents Alex Len and DeAndre’ Bembry. The latter of which will be restricted.

Nenê’s and Capela’s combined money was about the same as Evan Turner‘s, so if they make a deal, they’ll have send out and take in the about the same amount of money. Same goes for players, as even after they waived Chandler Parsons, they still have a full 15 man roster.

This takes away any possibility of trading Parker or Len for a simply a pick, and I doubt there’s a player out there who provides equal talent, upside and earnings as one of those three.

I would expect the Hawks to settle into the rest of the season with their current post-trade roster, and while the deadline is very unpredictable, I think they’re done for the year.

Once they waive Nenê and have a fresh roster spot open, I do think they’ll look to add a younger player to a 10-day like they have done in year’s past with Deyonta Davis, B.J Johnson and Isaac Humphries as well as Paul Watson earlier this season.

So while they do have moves to make, I don’t think those trades will be done via a trade.

We’ll find out for sure when the deadline passes on Thursday at 2:30 Eastern.
