Bench Grades

Atlanta Hawks. JEFF TEAGUE. C +. With Trae Young playing 39 minutes, the Hawks didn’t call on Teague to run the offense much tonight. Teague still got 24 minutes on the court, working as a two-guard alongside Trae at point. He played well, espically with the ball in his hand. He particularity looked like the Teague of old on a baseline drive-to-floater over Jae Crowder in the first half. He finished with 12 points on just 4 shots thanks to going 5-5 from the stripe. Teague did record a negative +/- and four turnovers, so there’s always room for improvement.. PG

Cam was real good for a burst in the 1st quarter. Thanks to Hunter’s fouls Reddish played most of the first period, and flashed elite play both offensively and defensively. In the moments between that stretch and the game-winning steal-to-dunk, Reddish was so-so, although his perimeter defense was on all night. He’s now scored 16 in his last two games.. G/F. Atlanta Hawks. CAM REDDISH. B -

BRANDON GOODWIN. C. Goodwin punched just four minutes tonight, recording a single point on two missed shots. He added two assists, but for the most part had little to do in his first game since shedding his two-way player status.. PG. Atlanta Hawks

C. VC also played four minutes, taking just one shot. The future Hall-of-Famer has just 25 games remaining now, and likely will continue alternating between  small minute nights like this one and the 14 minutes he got in Orlando last week.. F. Atlanta Hawks. VINCE CARTER

Bruno record the team’s lowest +/- on the night with a negative eight, but recorded four points and four boards in his limited minute count of nine. He missed two free throws Bruno has had a very up-and-down rookie campaign thus far, and this game is about right down the middle in terms of his production. Could be better, could be worse.. C. Atlanta Hawks. BRUNO FERNANDO. C -
