The Bucks are very deep, and wonāt need a lot of production from a rookie in the immediate future, and could very well shop this pick. If they do keep the pick, Jahmiāus Ramsey fits the bill as a two-way player that could transition quickly to the pros.
The 3-and-D freshman has shot nearly the same percentage from three (43%) as from the field (45%) and projects to be a great catch-and-shoot guy. Ramsey is leading his talented Texas Tech team in points per game, and is near the top-ten in the nation for 3P percentage.
Ramseyās not seen as a great playmaker for himself or others, but heāll turn 19 right before the Draft and still has room to add more to his game.
A good tournament showing could be a real needle-mover for Ramsey, and as it sits now, the Bucks could certainly do worse with the 18th pick.
