NBA Mock Draft

The Nets will looking to add a solid bench piece to supplement Kyrie and KD, and Josh Green is someone who can be that – and more.

There’s real upside to Green’s game, particularly as a defender. On offense he’s shot just 42 percent from the field, 31 percent from three, for Arizona as a freshman, but has impressed on the other end. Putting him alongside two of this generation’s greatest scorers will allow Green to slowly develop his offensive game while providing instant defensive relief for Brooklyn.

The Australian guard also has good size at his position and could easily defend three positions across both the back and front courts.

It’s easy to see Green getting a pretty big supporting role off the bat for the Nets, who could be losing some or all of Joe Harris, Garrett Temple and Wilson Chandler to free agency.
