Aleksej is going to be one of the youngest players drafted in June, and won’t turn 19 until Christmas. The Celtics have room to take a chance on a player like this, even if he doesn’t pan out for a few seasons.

The Serbian forward projects to be a good NBA defender, and has a nice shooting touch for his size. He averaged over one block and steal per game, and has quick feet to go along with his 7’3 wingspan.

Despite playing in Greece’s second league, he never did much scoring, and his per-36 of 15.9 points on a 37 percent clip could be discouraging for GM’s.

The Celtics are unlikely to keep all three of the picks they currently have, but if they do, taking on a project like Pokuševski who could use some years in the G-League would be beneficial.
