Starter Grades:

<a rel=. PG. Atlanta Hawks. JEFF TEAGUE. B -

B. Huerter looked confident as the first option on offense with Trae out and John Collins in early foul trouble, making and taking his own shots. Had eight points before he checked out for the first time. Atlanta went with a few no-PG lineups on the night, with Huerter acting as the primary ball-handler in those situations. His 11 assists were a new career-high, although his shooting dropped off after the solid start. He made just 2-8 from three.. SG. Atlanta Hawks. KEVIN HUERTER

SF. Atlanta Hawks. DE'ANDRE HUNTER. C -. <a rel=

A. With Trae already out, Lloyd Pierce was very careful with JC when he got into foul trouble. He sat nearly ten minutes of game time after two early fouls. He really got cooking in the second half and was phenomenal in the final quarter, leading the Hawks’ comeback bid. He made 10 of 15 shots for 26 points, making it a double-double with ten boards. He played good defense on the other end, blocking two shots and coming away with a huge steal of Bradley Beal late.. PF. Atlanta Hawks. JOHN COLLINS

C. Atlanta Hawks. DEWAYNE DEDMON. C. Dedmon got the start after missing the last few games with injury, playing 19 minutes. He finished with the team’s worst plus/minus at -11, probably due to him not being on the court during the Hawks’ comeback run. He was better offensively, draining five of nine shots for 11 points. He did managed to pry four steals despite his subpar night defensively as a whole.
