#1 – 99 Josh Smith

Forget being the best Atlanta Hawk in the game, there’s a real case that this Josh Smith card is the best card in the game, regardless of team. The 99 overall token reward can do everything on the court, and do it on an elite level.

All but one (passing vision) of his ratings are over 80, with most of the important ones being over 90. His driving layup and dunk are both 98’s, as is his shot close. He’s not going to miss much down low, and even if he does, he’s going to the line. Smith has a 97 draw foul rating, able to finish those off with an 89 free throw rating.

On the perimeter he’s just as deadly, boasting a 90 three-point rating with a great release and all the best badges.

On defense is where he makes the case to be the best card in the game. All of his defensive ratings are 92 or higher, with an interior and perimeter rating of 95. With 97 steal and 97 pass perception, no pass is safe.

While his block should be 99, a rating of 97 will get the job done there, as will the 95 shot contest. He has 13 hall of fame defensive badges, and with 94 speed, no one is getting past him. If J-Smoove is on your team, no opposing offense should feel safe.
