Kira Lewis Jr.. 110. PG, Alabama. Miami Heat. 23. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Lewis helped his draft stock immensely as a sophomore, averaging 18.5 points, 5.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He was named to the All-SEC First Team a year after making the All-Freshman team a year ago.

The ‘Bama point guard lacks elite size or explosiveness, but his 36 percent three-point percentage should translate well. Play-making will always be his headlining talent, and rightfully so. He takes chances, which can lead to turnovers but can also lead to game-changing dimes.

Goran Dragic is aging and set to be a free agent, and Lewis can come in and add to the Heat’s young backcourt that already features Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro. Lewis is still just 18 (for a few more days) and his sophomore tag shouldn’t scare anyone away.
