Pick Analysis. New York Knicks. player. Scouting Report. SF, Vanderbilt. Aaron Nesmith. 27. 27

Nesmith projects to be one of the best offensive threats in the draft, and easily the best outside the lottery. The problem is, he also projects to be one of the worst defenders in the class as well.

As a sophomore Commodore, Nesmith made 52 percent of his thees, of which he attempted over eight per game. The asterisk is he played just 14 games before a foot injury cost him the rest of the season. As a freshman, he shot 47 percent from three, so it wasn’t just a hot start.

He probably will never be anything more than a spot-up shooter but could be a very good one for a long time in the league. Only three teams shot a worse percentage from three this season than the Knicks and only the Pacers took fewer attempts per game. Nesmith can really boost their three-point attack.
