F – Paul Millsap

Paul Millsap played four seasons with the Hawks from 2013-2017. The 6’7 power forward out of Louisiana Tech was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2006 and found himself on the Hawks where he’d play the best basketball of his career.

Millsap, during his four seasons with the Hawks, averaged 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. He also had really impressive shooting splits of .463/.335/.753. Millsap did everything for the Hawks during these years.

As I mentioned, Millsap played four seasons for the Hawks and during that time he made four All-Star teams and an All-Defensive team. While he won’t likely go down as a Hall of Famer, Millsap has been and still is a really awesome NBA player.

Quite frankly, I don’t think it could be argued that Millsap shouldn’t be on the All-Hawks second-team. What he brought to the table for the Hawks was undisputedly great for four straight seasons. He was the unofficial captain of a team that was so good it got DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver their first and only career All-Star nods.

Without a doubt, Paul Millsap is one of the greatest Atlanta Hawks of all-time.
