#2 – January 4th vs. Indiana Pacers

Box Score

Huerter scored a season-high 26 points in this one, helping the Hawks win in one of the team’s worst losing stretches of the year. He played 41 minutes in the contest, taking 18 shots and making 10. He added six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

He had 23 entering the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead three in the final seconds of the third period.

He was a great second option to Trae Young (who had 41 points) with John Collins and Cam Reddish out of the lineup with injuries. Huerter had more than double the other three starters’ (Damian Jones, Bruno Fernando, De’Andre Hunter) combined points.

It was a game that gave great confidence moving forward for the young Hawks’ backcourt, and Huerter looked like a great rotational piece on both ends of the court.
