Due to the recent Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert feud, we finally have some more trade rumours. Let’s look at how some players may fit with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks are seemingly one to two big moves away from being a really good NBA team. However, it’s unclear whether the Hawks would prefer to make those moves via free agency or through the trade market.

While there haven’t been many disgruntled stars over the past few months, the recent feud between Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert has opened up the possibility of one or both of those guys being traded.

Additionally, there are still some All-Star or borderline All-Star players that have asked for trades in the past or are just no longer a part of their team’s plans that could be on the move. The NBA is ever-changing and if the Hawks are in the right place at the right time, they could change their franchise forever.

Even though there are players available in trades, it doesn’t mean those players will fit with the Hawks. So that’s what I want to take a look at today.

I’ve put together five mock trades the Hawks could make for some potentially available All-Star players and I want to analyze how the trade may positively or negatively affect the Hawks.

Now, just a disclaimer, these trades aren’t finished products. I simply put together a few players that make sense financially and would be a decent return for these stars. However, all of these trades could certainly be made possible if the Hawks were willing to add in a few draft picks here and there.

Alright, let’s get into it!
