4. Bradley Beal

While the Bradley Beal trade rumours have certainly settled down in recent months, he could certainly still be available at the right price. The Hawks may need to somewhat overpay for a guy like Beal so if they do it, they’ll need to be sure it’s going to work.

Clint Capela seems to be the starting point for most of these trades, simply because he has a reasonable salary and is yet to play for the team. However, giving up Capela and De’Andre Hunter for Beal would only make this terrible Hawks defense even worse.

Unfortunately for the Hawks, this is the price they will need to pay for Beal, and they’ll likely need to throw in additional draft picks as well. If the Hawks feel as though Beal could make a big enough difference for the Hawks, they will need to upgrade their defense in other ways.

This trade would also work financially if you traded Dewayne Dedmon instead of Capela. Now this would make a lot more sense for the Hawks, however, that would require them to give up even more draft assets and even still, that might now meet the Wizards expectations.

All in all, this trade seems less likely and less beneficial for the Hawks, however, it would still likely make them a better team.
