5. Andrew Wiggins

Andrew Wiggins gets a lot of hate because he hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations of a number one overall pick. But if Wiggins was selected later in the lottery, like say, 10th overall like Cam Reddish, he would be seen in a much different light.

At this point in their careers, Reddish seems like a much more capable three-point shooter and a much more willing defender than Andrew Wiggins which already gives Cam an advantage. However, if Reddish could study Wiggins’ relentless ability to attack the basket, that could be hugely beneficial for Cam.

Andrew Wiggins is a consistent 20-point per night scorer, which is something Reddish lacks at this point in his career. Wiggins has the ability, when his shots aren’t falling, to get to the free-throw line and still make stuff happen. This is an important skill to have that Reddish could take from Wiggins.

Additionally, Andrew Wiggins for his career shoots 47.1 percent on two-point field goals which isn’t amazing but it’s certainly better than Reddish’s 42.8 percent. This is definitely something Reddish will need to focus on improving over the next couple of seasons.

If Reddish can get one or two off-the-dribble moves going towards the basket from Andrew Wiggins, that would be a successful film session.
