2. How will Clint Capela fit with the Hawks?

Due to Clint Capela’s heel injury, we have yet to see how he would work with this current team and we may never get to see it. Unfortunately for the Atlanta Hawks, they’ll need to make decisions in free agency and the draft without knowing how their team looks with Capela.

This will certainly make the offseason more difficult as they will likely stay away from drafting or signing centers. However, no one knows if Clint Capela will even work with the Atlanta Hawks or not. If would be quite disappointing if the Hawks passed on a guy like James Wiseman in the draft just to find out that Capela is a poor fit with the team.

Although it isn’t likely, it is possible that Clint Capela just makes no sense with this roster.

I tend to lean more to the side that he will fit, as he provides elite defense and rim running ability, both of which the Hawks need. Especially if John Collins is able to continue to improve his three-point jumper, there is no reason why Capela couldn’t work well with the Hawks.

However, we’ll still likely have to wait until next season to find out whether or not he’s a fit.
