Myles Turner

The Atlanta Hawks are likely to take a long look at any draft prospect who could provide defensive relief. If they trade the pick, they could pick up a defensive player of the year candidate in Myles Turner.

Turner’s time in Indiana could be running out, and the writing has been on the wall since the team extended his frontcourt partner Domantas Sabonis in 2019. Since then, Turner has been a trade target and picked up a good amount of momentum around the deadline, including some buzz of him landing in Atlanta.

The Hawks picked up a different center in Clint Capela, but there’s always room for more big men and either could become a high-volume sixth man.

The Pacers traded their first-round pick this year to acquire Malcolm Brogdon and can bounce right back into the lottery to help bolster their roster that was on pace for the playoffs this year.
