Scouting Report. PF, Greece. Milwaukee Bucks (via Indiana). 19. Pick Analysis. Aleksej Pokuševski. player. 89

This is going against what I said about the Celtics but with the Bucks’ roster full of stars and ring-chasing vets, they can afford to take a euro stash with star potential.

Pokuševski is a Serbian-born big man who has high upside but is also one of the biggest mysteries of this year’s draft.

He boasts a 7’3 wingspan to go with his 7-foot frame but weighs in at just a tick over 200 pounds. He’ll need to put on muscle before coming to the NBA or he’ll be a frequent bully-ball target inside.

In a small sample size, Pokuševski has put up solid numbers for Olympiacos B in Greece, averaging 7.3 rebounds, 9.9 points, and 1.7 blocks per game in just over 21 minutes per game. He needs developing on offense; made just 40 percent of his 8.8 field goal attempts per game.

He does possess solid passing skills, and despite the massive size-difference, you can see some similarities to Nikola Jokic and his point-center style of play.

We likely won’t see him in the NBA for a few years but he could be a solid player down the road.
