Prospect Profile. Pick Analysis. PF, Florida State. Oklahoma City Thunder (via Denver). 25. Patrick Williams. player. 149

A nice change of pace in a class full of defensive-minded forwards, Williams can be a dominant offensive threat at the next level.

Although he did mess with a three somewhat in college, Williams got most of his buckets around the rim and in the mid-range. He’s a great slasher for the power forward position and can put it on the floor like a wing. He can finish with either hand and through contact consistently.

He can get to the rim through1-on-1 face-ups but is lethal as the roll guy in P&Rs. His shooting is mostly limited to catch-and-shoot opportunities, hesitant to shoot off the dribble or out of the post.

Williams was a solid shot-blocker as a freshman, although his footwork and lateral movement will need work for him to become a good defender outside the paint.
