Los Angeles Clippers: JaMychal Green

Available through: free agency

With fellow free-agent-to-be Montrezl Harrell currently out of the bubble due to unknown reasons, JaMychal Green will be a key piece of the Clippers’ bench unit in their playoff run.

Green, who has a $5 million player option for next season, could easily play himself into a deal larger than that, potentially even on a long-term basis. The Atlanta Hawks are looking for a backup power forward, and Green could fill that role.

The team should be watching him closely, and if the 30-year-old can help the Clips in their quest for a championship, he could help the Hawks do that as well.

Los Angeles Lakers: Anthony Davis

Available through: free agency

Yes, it’s (very, very) unlikely, but Anthony Davis could become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career in a few months. No one expects him to sign with any team other than the Lakers, but hey, you never know.

If the Lakers fail spectacularly (like, lose in the first round) or AD gets in a disagreement with his teammates, Davis could be looking for a new team.

Again, it’s not going to happen, but the Hawks should offer the max to Davis, and they don’t even need to scout him in Orlando before doing so. More realistic options include Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Avery Bradley (the latter of which is not playing in the bubble).
