Boston Celtics

Boston fans have been clamoring for this trade for a while now and like the Warriors, it does make sense. The Celtics are missing one player like Collins to set them over the edge and still have plently of good players the Hawks could be interested in.

note: like the previous trade, this one won’t be able to be completed for a while as Kris Dunn is still recently signed.

Now here’s my favorite move of the three. Is there a better backcourt duo in the NBA for Trae Young than Marcus Smart. Throw in the young and rapidly improving Grant Williams and a pick, this trade is nice on all sides.

The Celtics, meanwhile, get basically Marcus Smart lite with Kris Dunn, allowing them to stay competive alongside picking up Collins.

No, Boston isn’t going to trade Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown, but thihs trade is pretty good too.

dark. Next. Is John Collins a max player?

Should the Atlanta Hawks trade John Collins? To who?
