Mandatory Credit: Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports / Starter Grades:Atlanta Hawks. TRAE YOUNG. B. As mentioned, Trae was good in this one, but still took a step down from his season debut when he played at an MVP level. He kept the turnovers to a minimum and shot well from areas other than 3-point land. The guard dished out nine assists and played passable defense. His free-throw makes helped seal the win.. PGBOGDAN BOGDANOVIC. C -. Bogdanovic continues his rough start to his Atlanta Hawks career, posting another rough shooting night. He made just one of his nine 3-point attempts and went 2-of-10 overall. He was sharp on defense and grabbed eight boards and a steal, saving him from too low of a grade.. SG. Atlanta HawksC -. Reddish plays at 100 percent, for better and worse. He was a bit out of control in this one, especially on offense, taking some crazy shots. He was as advertised on defense, but didn’t do much besides that.. SF. Atlanta Hawks. CAM REDDISHPF. Atlanta Hawks. DE'ANDRE HUNTER. A. Hunter had perhaps the best game of his young career, playing with tremendous energy on defense and adding 15 efficient points on the other end. He stepped up with two Atlanta big men out with injury, grabbing 10 rebounds. Fans would love to see more performances like this from the former No. 4 overall pick.PF. Atlanta Hawks. JOHN COLLINS. C+. Collins started at the five with Capela and Gallinari out. We learned last season that John Collins is simply not a center, but he fared fine against a tough opponent like Jonas Valanciunas. Although he was quiet offensively, the forward managed 10 rebounds and 13 points, throwing down a few of his trademarked dunks.NextHome/Hawks News
