Atlanta Hawks Player Grades to Rough Loss to Hornets

Handing out player grades for the Atlanta Hawks in their loss to Charlotte.

The Atlanta Hawks kicked off a back-to-back with the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, losing their third-straight game.

It wasn’t without drama, as the team battled back from a disastrous start that saw them score just 11 points in the first quarter. Charlotte led by 24 at one point but the Hawks came all the way and even took the lead in the final frame.

This was all for not, however, as the young Hawks looked all too happy with simply getting the lead, not keeping it.

The team falls to 4-4 after a fantastic start and coach Lloyd Pierce has a lot of kinks to work out if the team is serious about contending this year.
