Atlanta Hawks starting lineup grades:

A. . SF. Atlanta Hawks. DE'ANDRE HUNTER

Hunter played an incredible defensive game against Hayward but did not leave it there. He also performed at the other end of the court and had 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting including 1-of-3 from deep. He went a perfect 7-of-7 from the line as well. He also collected eight rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal in a tremendous all-round game.

B-. . PF. Atlanta Hawks. JOHN COLLINS

Collins was the pick of the Hawks in the first half. He had ten points and seven rebounds on 4-of-5 shooting including making his only 3-point attempt for the half. The problem was that Collins was not as effective in the second half, finishing the game with 12 points, nine rebounds, and a steal. Collins did pick up three fouls after the break which could have impacted his game but the Hawks were plus eight in the 15 minutes he was on the court in that period.

A. . C. Atlanta Hawks. CLINT CAPELA

Clint Capela was simply magnificent against the Hornets. When he was on the court he changed the way they attacked the hoop. When they came near the paint Capela was challenging every shot. He only scored seven points but had 13 rebounds including four on the offensive end. He has changed the defense of the Hawks for the better in the short time that he has been on the court for them.

C-. . SG. Atlanta Hawks. BOGDAN BOGDANOVIC

You can only grade players for the time they are on the court. Unfortunately, during one transition play, Bogdanovic appeared to trip and was carried off the court straight to the locker rooms. Before he got hurt Bogdanovic was having a mixed game. He hit both of his first 3-point and his first 2-point attempts. He would then miss his next four shots from deep. He had one block and one rebound.

TRAE YOUNG. B-. . PG. Atlanta Hawks

Young had 15 points and 10 assists in a double-double which appears to be a decent return, especially as he only committed four turnovers. However, Young shot the ball poorly going 5-of-19 from the floor and missing every one of his five 3-point attempts. He went 5-of-5 from the line which helped the Hawks.
