The Atlanta Hawks are in a great position to make a splash at the trade deadline and Bleacher Report has highlighted three players they should target.

While the Atlanta Hawks are not where they would like to be, they are in a tremendous position to make a huge trade around the trade deadline. With all the moves they made in the offseason they are in a strong position to make the playoffs if they can get their players back and healthy.

However, thanks to the recent James Harden trade the balance of power has shifted in the Eastern Conference and now the Hawks should respond. If they are serious about making it deep into the playoffs, they will need to ante up and trade some of their budding stars.

With John Collins not signing his rookie extension, he is a prime candidate to be traded and should bring some capital back. However, Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter, and Kevin Huerter are all players who could help bring an established star.

The Atlanta Hawks need to be bold and fearless.

After dwelling at the bottom of the standings for too long the Hawks now have the potential to make big trades. Their roster is full of quality young players whose contracts are low value who other teams will be interested in.

They also have some medium-sized contracts for veteran players who they could also use to tempt teams into giving up their stars. With all that in mind, let’s have a look at the potential trade targets B/R believes the Atlanta Hawks could land..
