Rumoured Atlanta Hawks target No. 2) Bradley Beal

The second superstar in the pass or pursue pipeline is the Washington Wizards scoring sensation Bradley Beal

Since the injury to John Wall, Beal has been massive for the Wizards. He has taken them on his back and almost got them into the playoffs last season. Then, thanks to COVID-19 the season was suspended.

When the NBA restarted the season in the bubble, Beal did not participate. The end result for the Wizards was that they did not win a game in the restart and slipped from the ninth seed to the 10th seed, which displays the importance of Beal.

This season he has continued his scoring blitz, leading the NBA with 34.9 points per game. The only thing stopping him from scoring is the Wizards are not allowed to take the court at the moment due to health and safety protocol.

Beal has truly joined the elite of the NBA and if he was to be paired with Young, the Hawks would be a very tough team to beat. They may not have the best defense but it will take an incredibly good offensive team to come close. Again, the Hawks would have to give up a lot of good young pieces but the reward would be worth it.

Verdict: Pursue
