Atlanta Hawks offseason signing grade No.8) Bogdan  Bogdanovic

The Hawks were fortunate to get the Serbian shooting sensation this offseason. The Milwaukee Bucks wanted to show their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, that they were serious about getting better talent around him to persuade him to sign the supermax.

Unfortunately, the Bucks and the Sacramento Kings performed a sign and trade before they were allowed to sign Bogdanovic and the deal fell through. The Hawks pounced and they appeared to have an outside shooter who could take the pressure off Trae Young.

Well, the first week of the season Bogdanovic was incredible. He played so well and the Hawks were on top of the pile. Then he started to struggle with his shot and the Hawks started to collect a few losses. Then after nine games Bogdanovic tripped and fell mid-court, fracturing his knee cap. It was a freak accident that looked innocuous but it wasn’t

Two games before the All-Star break Bogdanovic returned. The Hawks welcomed him back with open arms. Despite still struggling with his shot he just made the second unit look so much more dangerous. The Hawks have won both games since he has been back in the lineup
