Atlanta Hawks player crucial to playoff success – Clint Capela

Capela was acquired in a mid-season trade prior to COVID-19 hitting in 2020. He was injured at the time and did not suit up for the Hawks until the second game of this season. Capela has been a difference-maker for the Hawks all season.

Not only has he fixed their defense, but Capela has also done amazing work on the offensive glass. His ability to keep the ball alive on a missed field goal attempt is a testament to his strength and understanding of the game.

He is also the only member of the Hawks’ starting five who has seen playoff action of any kind. During his time with the Rockets, Capela produced good numbers and helped his team succeed. He was also a key to their defense during their extended playoff runs.

If Capela is able to keep up his production and continue to lead the defense for the Hawks, then they are likely to challenge for a deep playoff run. Without him, the Hawks will not be able to survive a series against the best teams in the NBA. He is that crucial to the success of the Hawks’ postseason run.
