Atlanta Hawks historic pick guide No. 1) Delon Wright

Delon Wright was taken with the 20th pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors where he played three-and-a-half seasons before he was traded. This seems to be the calling card now for Wright, he has played for five teams in the six seasons that he has been in the league.

The point guard just needs to be given the right opportunity to play, having averaged 10.0 points per game or more in the last three seasons. He has done this by being a very efficient shooter over this period.

He has been given greater opportunities at three of his four latest teams, with the exception being the season that he played for the Dallas Mavericks, where he backed up Luka Doncic. He still shot the 3-ball at over 37.0 percent during his time there which, given that he only played 21.5 minutes per game, was a tremendous number.

For his career, Wright has actually shot the ball very well at 35.0 percent from beyond the arc which is a really good number. However, he has also shown himself to be a really good backup playmaker. He has averaged 3.2 assists per game for his career.
