Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins needs to develop a more all-around game to move up past No. 5 Pascal Siakam.

This is probably the player who is going to create the most debate over whether Collins should swap positions with. The difference between the two players is quite stark, given that there are times when he is on the court that Pascal Siakam appears to be simply unstoppable.

Siakam came from a long way back to get to where he is today, He was the 26th pick in the 2016 NBA draft and went through two years of development to get to where he is today. Siakam is a true story of it does not matter where you are drafted, if you put the hard work in, you can get there.

Where Siakam has the clear advantage over Collins is that he is able to create his own shot at a much higher level than the Wake Forest alum. Collins has not needed to develop this because he has Trae Young creating for him and doing a magnificent job at it.

The problem is that Collins does not have the same ability to be the main man when Young is off the floor. Siakam is comfortable with the ball in his hand, creating for himself and others. The Toronto Raptors won a championship with Siakam contributing at a high level this way.
