Legends for Atlanta Hawks big man Gorgui Dieng to study No. 3) Channing Frye

Classing Channing Frye as a legend may be stretching it a bit but everyone has a lunchbox and Frye was able to win a championship with the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers. He knew his role and performed it incredibly well.

Frye developed a 3-point shot in the fifth season of his career and shot the ball extremely well from distance for the rest of his career. He ended up with a career number of 38.8 percent from beyond the arc which is incredible for a 7’0″ big man.

Frye was also a solid rebounder which helped the teams that he played on. He only started half the games that he played throughout his career which means that he came off the bench for most of the end of his career. He was able to influence a contest without starting.
